Wine & Brine To-Go Returns + Winter Wine & Oyster Weekends Announced

Winter on Virginia’s Eastern Shore has a rhythm all its own. The air turns crisp, the creek quiets, and it becomes the perfect time to gather and enjoy one of Virginia’s most beloved pairings — merroir and terroir, wine and oysters together. At Chatham Vineyards, this season is all about celebrating the flavors and traditions that define life along Church Creek.

We’re excited to welcome the return of Wine & Brine To-Go, just in time for holiday gatherings, cozy evenings, and festive weekends with family and friends. And we’re also pleased to share the schedule for our Winter Wine & Oyster Weekends, a cherished Chatham tradition.

Wine & Brine To-Go: A Holiday Season Favorite

Whether you’re hosting, gifting, or stocking your cooler, Wine & Brine To-Go makes it easy to bring home fresh local oysters and pair them with your favorite Chatham wines.

Here’s how it works:

  • Order on our website by midnight Wednesdays*
  • Pick up Fridays at noon through Sunday at close of business*
  • $25 per bag of 25 oysters
    • Or enjoy a 10% discount on bags of 50
    • Or enjoy a 15% discount on 100-count bags
  • Choose from Church Creek Corks or Shooting Point Salts
  • A limited number of extra bags will be available for walk-ins

We recommend bringing a cooler to keep your oysters chilled during transport. And while you’re here, don’t forget to pick up a bottle or two — or stay and enjoy your oysters right here at the winery. (If you plan to shuck on site, please bring your own gear.)

Winter Wine & Oyster Weekends: A Chatham Tradition

For those who prefer to savor oysters overlooking the vineyard and Church Creek, join us for one of our Winter Wine & Oyster Weekends. These relaxed events highlight the classic Eastern Shore pairing of oysters grown in nearby waters and wines shaped by the distinct Shore terroir.

For just $20, enjoy:

  • A half dozen fresh oysters from Virginia’s Eastern Shore
  • A glass of your favorite Chatham wine
